This chapter again is showing Elohim all the bad things that Yisrael and Yehudah both are doing. Elohim is telling Yirmeyahu how He has been trying to warn them way before judgment starts.
Elohim tells Yirmeyahu not to pray for these people no more; because He won't hear the prayers!
Elohim shows Yirmeyahu that these same people that you are trying to save are trying to kill you!
